Adam Burton is a litigator and trial lawyer with 22 years of experience. Mr. Burton received his law degree cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Executive Articles Editor of The Georgetown Journal of International Law, and he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia.

Mr. Burton’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, including general commercial litigation, antitrust, suits alleging breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, professional negligence, real estate disputes and litigation involving distressed assets.

Mr. Burton started his career at White & Case LLP and is a member of the bars of New York State, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second Circuit and the Fourth Circuit.

Abraham Shaw

Abraham Shaw is a litigator and trial lawyer with 16 years of experience whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitrations involving a wide range of areas including mergers and acquisitions, corporate control contests, bankruptcies, director’s fiduciary duties, antitrust, and federal securities laws.

Mr. Shaw holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar, 2010 E. Allan Farnsworth Notes Competition Winner, and Managing Editor of The Columbia Journal of European Law. Mr. Shaw earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. 

Mr. Shaw previously served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Roslynn R. Mauskopf of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and as an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
